Suzanne Lyn-Cook
Suzanne is of Caribbean heritage brought up in the UK. She is currently working as an independent organisational consultant. Most of her work is public sector focused and she has been working in the sector for over 24 years. Her passion is enabling people to fulfil their potential both personally and professionally.
Suzanne believes people are the most powerful resource in any organisation: they are the key to organisational success, achieving objectives and quality standards. She has a strong commitment to working with individuals and organisations to enable people to be confident and creative and thereby being able to contribute to the development of organisations. A fundamental part of this approach is the understanding of diversity and how to embed this understanding in effective organisational practice. Suzanne strives to integrate anti discriminatory perspectives into every aspect of her work, while recognising the need for effective frameworks, standards and targets for ensuring accountability and quality.
An area of particular interest that is emerging in her work, is the need for increasing psychological awareness to enable leaders and staff to sustain themselves in complex, ever changing and demanding situations. Suzanne is beginning to work with leaders in this aspect of their role.
